Shop Cheaper Online and shopcheaperonline.com could be used inter-changeably in the below terms and in the entire website. Please bear in mind that they both refer to the same entity.

Article 2 The use of Calendar Days

Please note whenever a specific number of day or days are stated (by Shop Cheaper Online’s administrators) in Shop Cheaper Online’s terms and conditions, privacy policy, FAQ pages or in other words in any part of the Shop Cheaper Online.com  network, they mean business days (Monday to Friday) and not calendar days.

Article 3 Eligibility of Membership

Shop Cheaper Online is only available to people who are over 18 and are legally able to form binding contracts with sellers and buyers of an marketplace product. Therefore, people who are under 18 are not eligible for membership at Shop Cheaper Online due to security precautions and legal issues. Article 4 Allowed Products

Shop Cheaper Online is an international multi-vendor marketplace website for buying, selling and trading brand new and pre-owned goods from all around the world. However, there are a number of items which are prohibited to be listed and sold at Shop Cheaper Online. To familiarise with such products and services please read our ‘Prohibited Items‘ post. But if after careful investigation Shop Cheaper Online acknowledges that a seller has sold a prohibited item to a buyer, the total purchase amount will be refunded to the buyer and both the seller and buyer of the prohibited item will be removed from the website. In the case of selling and buying security and health hazard materials, both the seller and buyer will be reported to the police.

Article 5 Drop-Shipping

Shop Cheaper Online does not allow drop-shipping in any manner. Consequently sellers are obligated to list only products that they hold in their ownership. As a result, listing products which are not available for immediate shipping are not allowed.

Article 6 Authenticity & Quality of a Product

While Shop Cheaper Online only provides marketplace services to sellers of legal/allowed goods, however Shop Cheaper Online does not have any control over the authenticity and quality of the products which are sold on its website. Nevertheless, in order to provide the best possible customer satisfaction, after each successful sale, Shop Cheaper Online will hold the total purchase amount for twenty one days after the item was received by the buyer. The seller’s share will be sent to the vendor’s PayPal account or the agreed payment method after the seller has provided the insured shipping tracking number to Shop Cheaper Online customer services. Hence, sellers are obligated to only sell to those countries which offer postal services with insured online tracking. However, if online tracking is not provided by the seller and a buyer opens a claim for an undelivered item, after careful investigation Shop Cheaper Online may refund the total purchase amount to the buyer. Of course, the seller  reputation is also going to be taken into account. Sellers with a positive history and large amount of sale will be recommended by Shop Cheaper Online. For more information about shipping and delivery please see our FAQ pages.

Article 7  Warranty & Liability

As an user of Shop Cheaper Online one should acknowledge and accept that Shop Cheaper Online only provides  an online marketplace to seller of a product but does not provide any kind of warranty for the products that sellers list and sell on its pages. However in order to bring customer satisfaction, if the buyer received a ‘faulty’ item or a ‘not as described’ product, the buyer should contact Shop Cheaper Online’s support department as soon as they receive the item and open a dispute claim. The buyer has fourteen days starting from the date they receive the item to submit their claim. Shop Cheaper Online attempts to resolve such dispute claims in thirty days from the time of their submission. Nevertheless, if more time was needed to solve a dispute, the buyer will be notified. Furthermore, Shop Cheaper Online does not have any knowledge and control about the sources that sellers receive their products. Therefore, if after purchasing an item at Shop Cheaper Online the buyer found out that the item was a ‘stolen item’, they should immediately contact the police and report the seller. Hence, Shop Cheaper Online cannot be liable  for the purchase of a ‘stolen item’. If the matter was solved with the police in the twenty one days period that Shop Cheaper Online keeps the seller’s funds, Shop Cheaper Online will refund the buyer. Nonetheless, if the twenty one days period has ended and the purchase amount has been already transferred to the seller PayPal account, the buyer should follow the issue with PayPal and the police.

Article 8  Right to Cancel an Order

After placing an order buyers have the right to cancel an unshipped item. This means if a buyer has placed an order and for any reason they have changed their mind, they should immediately contact support and provide their cancellation request. After receiving the cancellation application from the buyer, the order will be cancelled. That is, if the seller has not already shipped the item. However, if the seller has already posted the item, we can no longer cancel the item and the buyer must accept the item. Please note if a buyer has more than three cancellation in a twelve months period, they will lose their buying privileges and could be removed from the site. Cancelled items will be refunded to their original payment method fourteen days after they were accepted.

Similar to buyers, sellers also have the right to cancel an unshipped item. This means if a seller, for any reason, would like to cancel an item, they should contact support and provide their reason for cancellation. After an item was cancelled by a seller, the buyer will receive their refund seven days after the cancellation request was completed. Sellers with to many unfulfilled orders and cancelled items could lose their vendor privileges and be removed from the marketplace.

Article 9  Offering Returns & Refunds

Shop Cheaper Online cannot force sellers to offer a ‘return policy’ and issue full refund unless the item is faulty, not as described or  undelivered. However in order to increase customer satisfaction and provide better sale, we strongly advise vendors to offer at least a minimum of fourteen days return and refund policy. All returned items must be unused and in their original packaging. If the buyer opened a returned request and was accepted by the seller, the buyer will receive his full or partial refund (depending to the seller’s return policy) fourteen days after the seller has received the item. Please note that the buyer is obligated to pay for the shipping of a returned item and the shipping cost is not refundable. Nevertheless, if a seller would like to provide a ‘return policy’, they must write their ‘return policy’ as clear as possible in their shop description as well as under each listed item.

Article 11 Commissions & Fees

As an online multi-vendor marketplace, Shop Cheaper Online charges sellers after-sale commissions. Sellers can find out up-to-date information about Shop Cheaper Online’s rates at our ‘Commissions & Fees‘ page. Please bear in mind that Shop Cheaper Online holds the right to alter its commissions and fees rates whenever it chooses. However, it will notify its sellers thirty days prior to the date that new rates will be put in place. Equally, the seller has the right not to accept the new rates and leave the website. Nevertheless, if the seller decides to leave Shop Cheaper Online marketplace, they will receive their share of their sales twenty one days after the transaction took place. As a result, Shop Cheaper Online advises such sellers  not to delete or alter their account details until they receive their money.

Furthermore, please note Shop Cheaper Online’s after-sale commissions are separate from ‘PayPal transaction fees’. This means we take our commission after PayPal took its share. Thus please understand Shop Cheaper Online does not have any control over ‘PayPal transaction fees’ and it is completely up to the seller to have an up-to-date knowledge of PayPal seller fees and this rule applies to refunds as well. This suggests if a buyer asks for a full or partial refund and if their refund request is accepted by the seller and Shop Cheaper Online, the seller  has to pay the relevant ‘PayPal refund fee’ (of course if such fee exists at the time of the refund) and Shop Cheaper Online cannot be liable at all.

4- The seller cannot negotiate or argue about the given period or the terms of the promotion. However, the seller has the right not to accept the offer and continue without the promotion or leave the site.

5- The free sale offer does not cover PayPal transaction fees and charges such as: PayPal sale fees and PayPal refund charges. This is because we do not have any control  over PayPal charges and they are solely  determined by PayPal.

6- Shop Cheaper Online reserves the right to cancel, amend or disable the free sale offer anytime it chooses without providing advance notice.
